The family business we run is as much about building new relationships with our customers, as it is about providing fantastic HVAC service experiences in our neighbourhood and surrounding areas. We don’t just work here, we also live here, and have been a part of the community since our patriarch, Lawrence Vasilak, planted his roots in Hamilton over 75 years ago.

We had our furnace, ventilator and some ducting replaced during a renovation of our condo - a major project. The team did a terrific job of removal and installation. The whole HAMCO experience was excellent, including the "back office": Cherryl in Accounting was super responsive throughout the process and is a really excellent rep for the company. Earlier this week Hamco replaced my gas furnace and air conditioner with a new multi stage furnace and heat pump. The team was led by Shemar assisted by Nick, Veronika and Tony. They were courteous and efficient, and the work of removal and installation of the new system went smoothly. They did a great job of cleanup in the work area, and outside where the hear pump unit is located. Thanks to the installation team, and to Andrew who did the upfront work of finding the right solution for us.

Our old rental hot water heater burst, which left us with a bit of a flood and no hot water. We phoned around to the big box retailers to purchase and install a new hot water tank. The install dates were anything from 7 to 14 days wait. I phone Hamco, and they sent a rep that afternoon to estimate the job. The install was completed next day in 2 hours. Excellent service and competitive price. Highly recommend.

They misdiagnosed issue with my HVAC , it was just an issue with a valve but they mentioned it was issue with the board and valve. They ordered board from manufacturer which is very costly by itself and installed it in my unit , it got damaged in 2 weeks , they brought another board from manufacturer as new one they brought is in waranty. After this change my HVAC used to stop working abruptly and this happened multiple times over span of 3 months even after HAMCO's tech multiple visits. But when I contacted different contractor he was able to use the original board that came with my HVAC unit without any issues. It is running fine with original board now. Now I wanted to return the board they ordered but they wont take it or provide me a Purchase Order for that board. I called them multiple times requesting to return the board or provide me with PO but they did not provide it. They mentioned their service manager would call back to me but that did not happen.I see same reviews from other people as well

This company was highly recommended but we are very disappointed.Substandard service was provided by to 2 inept technicians,First technician misdiagnosed the problem on our air-exchange system and ordered a costly part (control board). The new control board not only did not fix the problem but created a new problem.Second technician, who was to correct the problem free of charge, was unfamiliar with the system. After trouble shooting for approx. 2 hours unsuccessfully he ordered additional unnecessary parts and left disconnected wires and the control board exposed.After I enquired about an update, the dispatcher was going to schedule the technician to install the ordered parts at a cost of an additional $300.00 plus. This I refused andrequested to speak with the service manager and was promised a call back. That was over 2 weeks ago and I am still waiting.I refuse any further service from this company.Note: the actual problem was a faulty cable to one of the wall control switches.

Well I waited a while to write a review til it got "REAL cold". I have to say the HEAT PUMP/AC PUMP we had installed in the summer did an outstanding job dealing with the entire attic area with ease. It was so comfortable up there (when it was like 40+ degrees outside on those heat wave stretches we had here in old DUNDAS) we just wanted to be up there more often, also noticed the air was very comfortable and clear. Not too dry or humid, kinda just perfect.Our house was built in 1903, pretty typical Edwardian style, long, skinny and REALLY tall. Attic open from front to back of house.NOW that its COLD, prior to this HEAT PUMP install, our attic was an ice box. Tough to enjoy, NOT A PROBLEM NOW THOUGH !!! The heat in there is excellent!! It's just quietly keeping us at 24 degrees or so. The outside unit is so quiet I have to lean into it make sure we are running. Incredible really!! HYDRO bills do not show huge increases. I think we are quite similar in historical billing actually, be being more efficient in other areas. Ii.e. weekend laundry only (OFF PEAK), less fancy lights out back no one really looks at too much.The installer crew were in/out in about 7 hours. Great crew!!"ANDREW" was spectacular from start to finish with his knowledge, confidence and professionalism. I had 3 or 4 discussions with hvac folks, and clearly ANDREW knew the job better then the rest, so we signed with HAMCO!Thx folks, I've recommended you several times.B

Just had a ductless AC installed. Starting from the sales representative Andrew to the technicians who installed the unit, Ainslea, Shemar, Nick and Tony, we couldnt be happier with the service we received from start to finish. Professional, friendly and efficient, it was a pleasure having them in my home. Hard working bunch and will definitely be referring this company in the future. Thank you Hamco for the amazing job!

I would highly recommend Hamco Heating and Cooling Ltd. We had used their services to maintain our old furnace however when we woke up with no heat one morning, we were very worried. The technician came without two hours. Unfortunately, it was time to replaced the very old furnace and Bill came right away to next day to give us a quote on a new furnace. Our installation took place the following day and our installers Justin and Nick did an amazing job and were very professional. Thank you to the whole team for caring and making sure we were not left out in the cold for very long.

We have been working with HAMCO in Hamilton, ON for over 15 years, to install a high efficiency boiler and a water heater. They have always provided top quality, reliable service. Recently we installed a heat pump in our house (which is almost 100 years old and has hot water heating). We installed 4 heating/cooling units, one on each floor operated by one large condenser to reduce our carbon footprint and hopefully reduce our gas bill. The installation team of 4 eneregtic young technicians (Veronika, Najim, Josh and Nick) were a delight to work with. They were effciient, fast and completely dedicated. They made sure everything was done to a perfection despite cold weather outside. Thanks very much to them and we recommend them higly to anyone who is considering a heat pump installation.

Two technicians ( Najum and Shamar) installed a new gas furnace and hot water tank on a rush basis since my old one failed. They worked well and solved a few install issues quickly. They tidied up afterwards and explained any questions I had thoughtfully and politely. Easy for me to recommend these gents and Hamco.

Very positive experience working with Hamco for our Daikin ductless system. Andrew was very informative and detailed in explaining the best heating solution for our sun room. Murray and the team were fantastic and consulted with us during every step of the installation process. The job was unique and challenging, but it was completed professionally and on time. Recently had our Furnace replaced after it was deemed too expensive to replace a fan whose cost was the equivalent of 50% of a furnace. Veronika and Rick installed our new furnace updating specs that had changed. Excellent job all round our second furnace from Hamco

We had a good experience with HamCo for our AC replacement, that we contacted them again regarding our furnace! We thought we could get a couple more years from the furnace but it too needed to be replaced. Again it was another quick turn around from our initial call to Laura, quotes with Bill, and to install with a great team of technicians.

Our experience using Hamco to install our air source heat pump last year was great. Andrew is very consistent in his messaging about the pros and cons of the new system and the quote that he put into place at the beginning of the process remained unchanged, despite some changes in the overall plan. From our experience, Hamco seems to be running an honest operation that cares about customer satisfaction. We are happy customers.

My Parents have been using Hamco since the late 80’s. We are completely satisfied with the on going excellence with all the service. The techs are professional and persistent in solving our heating and cooling issues.So much so we purchased a hot water heater we had no idea they did that but the tech advised us on the type and size we needed. That was also an excellent install. I’m not really a google review type but when it’s good you need to tell others.Give Hamco a try I know you will not be disappointed.

HAMCO did an exceptional job installing both my York AC and my York furnace. Bill gave me several options and helped me figure out what made sense for my home. It was a very positive experience working with Andrew, Bill and the installers. They also did a great job rerouting the ductwork in my basement. (I can now walk around without hitting my head.) We had an excellent experience with Hamco. Our 41 year old boiler up and died on us just about 2 weeks ago and Nolan and Christian were able to diagnose the issue. Based on their feedback, we decided to switch over to a heat pump with mini splits and they put us in touch with the sales dept. Andrew immediately gave us a call and helped us decide on the right mini split system. The main installers, Veronika and Reese were great and very efficient. They went above and beyond making the installation process painless. Overall, I'm impressed with the service from start to finish and the professionalism of Hamco.

Our house was doing basement renovation, there’s lots of work because of new room reorganizing. Veronika, Lyie, Rees are very professional and detail driven, they are not only installed the new pipes according to code, also they changed wrong pipes which done by previous house owner, it avoided potential fire, keep our house safe.
