A benefit of furnace replacement is that new heating systems come with manufacturer warranties. While the terms and conditions vary, usually, there’s a limited warranty on the heat exchanger and a basic parts limited party warranty. Furnace registration is required to keep manufacturer warranties valid and usually has to be completed within a few months of installation. Typically, your parts warranty will increase if it’s registered within the manufacturer’s guidelines.
Daikin Furnace Registration – Register Online
Please register your furnace within 60 days of the installation date. To register Daikin equipment, you’ll need the following information:
- Your basic contact information including the installation date of the furnace.
- Furnace serial number and item name.
- Basic contact information for the installation company.
It can be tricky to find the serial number of the furnace, so it’s always best to have the installation tech write it down for you before they leave.
York Furnace Registration – Register Online
If you’ve recently installed a York furnace, you have 90 days to register your new heating system online. To complete online registration, you’ll need the following information:
- Your basic contact information including the installation date of the furnace.
- Furnace serial number and model number.
- Basic contact information for the installation company.
Serial and model numbers can be found on the furnace, but to avoid any confusion, ask the installation technician to write the information down for you during their visit.
