We had Derek from Hamco come to do a A/C & Furnace maintenance check because I found some water coming from under the furnace. He was on time & very polite & courteous. He explained the procedure he was doing & had the work done in roughly an 1/2 hr. or so. A minor problems was found & told me in fact the units are in very good shape. Furnace is back to good working condition.

Hamco recently installed venting through the attic and up to the roof for my microwave/range hood combo.Andrew from Hamco was available, pleasent, and thorough. He assessed and quoted and even came back during install to ensure everything ran smooth.Cheryl helped rearrange when weather postponed the work. Had a heatpump and 3 heads installed in our home in July. Every time I come through the door on a hot day, I say a prayer. Not to a god, but to Andrew and the rest of the team at Hamco. I can't tell you how drastically our lives have improved. Andrew was very informative, helpful, great communication, very responsive at all hours of the day, happy to accommodate with my babies nap schedule. The installation team were very respectful and did an excellent job. We were pleasantly surprised that the job ended up taking only 1 day instead of the estimated 2 days.10/10 would use again and would recommend to everyone.

We had a new furnace and A/C unit installed by Hamco 7 years ago. We get both units serviced annually by Hamco. The technicians have always been very friendly, courteous, and professional. This year, there was a leak in the water line leading to the humidifier on the furnace. Hamco advised me that this was not covered by the furnace warranty. Regardless, they agreed to fix the problem without charge. Derek was great and he fixed the problem quickly and efficiently.

We called Hamco when our AC stopped working properly and they were able to come out the same day to get us back up and running. Derek was friendly and knowledgeable, replaced a part and ran some tests, gave us his recommendations and talked us through some options. We've since had Hamco back out for maintenance on the unit and will have them out again soon for a furnace maintenance before the winter. Derek, Im sorry this review is tardy. I really meant to get something here sooner. Derek visited my home for a semi-annual furnace and A/C checkup. He began by asking whether I had noticed anything troublesome. Yes! I could not regulate my Google Nest thermostat. I explained how it seemed to have a mind of its own getting colder when I preferred a comfortable 21 C, and doing all kinds of weird things. He suggested a non-programmable thermostat and quoted a price. He checked out the furnace, changed a filter, and cleaned out some debris from the A/C unit outside. Then I asked whether he had time to swap out the thermostat. Happily, he had one in his truck and in the blink of an eye, he had me fixed up with a new thermostat that doesn't have a mind of its own! Thanks, Derek! The house is so much more comfortable now that the temperature is regulated. Great service.-- Sally

Got a new water heater from Hamco. The entire experience was handled in a professional and competent manner, from my initial phone call to the in-house consultation to the installation. The installers in particular impressed me with their friendliness, efficiency and competence. All told, had a new heater installed about 26 hours after my initial phone call. Felt the price was quite fair.

Had an older AC unit cut out during the heatwave, HAMCO sent a guy out quick.Christian was very nice and was quick to diagnose the issue, made a quick fix and checked the rest of the system out just to make sure it's all in good shape, excellent service. I was introduced to Jordan at a bbq on a Thursday afternoon. He was very personable & knowledgeable and told me he would pass my info along to his office to book an appointment. Within 2hrs the office called and had me booked for a diagnostic (out in Caistorville) within 2 days. The tech came out and he (Christian) was amazing, he listened intently as I described what was going on and then did his inspection. We chatted some more, he provided me with some great insights and was on his way.The thing that stuck with me the most was when Jordan said we could try just changing parts and hope for the best or properly diagnose things and said it was totally my call no pressure.I highly recommend Hamco and there’s a reason they’ve been around so long!!!!

Very good customer service on the phone - live person there whenever you call. Called on Thu afternoon and Friday morning the technician - Najim - came to check the problem with my AC. Unfortunately the fixing estimate came to half the price of a new unit so we desided to order a new one. Same day they called me with an appointment for Monday morning! Today with the new unit Murray and Victor came early and installed it. After they finished cleaned after themself and put everything on its place in my basement. Amazing job! Thank you!

Right from the prompt response to my call, the honesty and integrity from the sales department when I was desperate to replace what I thought was a system in need of replacement, I was so impressed with this company.I wasn't able to get the original installation company to return a call, book me a service appointment, or acknowledge the fact that I had left emails, called and needed a service before I could use my ductless unit. It doesn't perform well to start with, so I wasn't going to start it up without a service and cleaning. After 3 1/2 weeks of the hottest month in history, I got tired of living in a convection oven, and finally found Hamco. Many HVAC companies don't service ductless units, and I was desperate at this point. Their team was friendly, efficient and professional. They didn't sell me a new unit when I thought I needed it, Christian cleaned it up, testing the unit properly and took the time to explain the size of the unit, why it was working the way it was, or why it WASN'T cooling as efficiently as I had been expecting it to, and gave me some potential future options if I wanted to upgrade. He left it running, with us finally having a/c for the first time this year! We couldn't be happier with their service and will only be using them moving forward! Thank you again Christian!!

Update: We just had our annual maintenance done and as usual, the booking and service were done efficiently and professionally. Cameron was pleasant and before servicing the furnace and AC he was happy to answer a couple questions I had. Pleased once again with Hamco's service.We were recently faced with our 17-year-old furnace breaking down and beyond repair. Despite the extremely cold weather that resulted in a larger number of service needs for Hamco, Najim met with us in just over 24 hours, spent time accessing and explaining the situation and offering the best options for the needed replacement. He worked to get us up and running quickly with a Saturday install and left us with a space heater to ease discomfort overnight. He was personable, knowledgeable and took time to ensure we were happy with the decision we made. It wasn't an expense we had planned for but Najim eased the situation with his excellent customer service. He was happy to answer any questions we had and worked to ensure we got the best price and service possible. Veronika and Shemar arrived early the next day to replace our furnace with a new Daikin. They were also personable, professional and efficient. We feel fortunate to have Hamco to count on with HVAC needs. They have a great team of people who also seem to greatly appreciate how they are respected and treated by the company. It's wonderful to have a local family-owned business providing excellent service. We've been with Hamco (initial installs and service plans) for 17 years and plan to continue with them as needs arise.

Honest, expert advice! I asked HAMCO about adding a HEPA filter and UV light to my gas forced air furnace. Instead of selling me an expensive, unnecessary installation, Andrew honestly advised that portable units would suit my needs much better. That level of integrity is rare. They truly care about the client over making a quick profit. Highly recommend!

We had a leak coming from our furnace, so called to have it looked at. Christian showed up on time(doesn’t often happen in service industry)! He was really polite and friendly. He was able to diagnose the problem quickly (blockage in drainage pipe), and had it fixed. I always have lots of questions about the problem and what to do going forward and he was able to answer them all. Whole visit took about 20 minutes. Very satisfied! Thanks HAMCO!

We recently bought an older house. We have been experiencing numerous problems with the air filtering in our bathrooms and laundry rooms. Very through. Answered all of our questions or concerns. Went through all of our vents, tested them, and explored all causes of the possible problems.
