Air conditioner service required due to non-cooling. Called Hamco first thing in the morning and fixed early afternoon. Exceptional courteous service beginning at reception who booked the service and by Najim, the onsite technician. Excellent service! Called them for a 2nd opinion, and boy did they deliver. They followed up with manufacturers of our heat exchange and found out it was under warranty. Going the extra step, saving us over $2400 based on quote from the other guys to replace. We know who we will be buying our new system from when needed. Thanks Najim for going the extra mile!

Fearing an exorbitant bill, I reached out to HAMCO for a Saturday service call during another heat wave. Christian from HAMCO promptly returned my email and explained the charges, both 'real' and potential. He arrived when he said he would (rarer than it should be!) and immediately set to work. He efficiently and effectively diagnosed the issues and had a well-stocked truck that allowed him to fix both issues and restore my air conditioning. Thank you, Christian! The price was very reasonable and below what I expected to pay under the circumstances. I will continue to recommend HAMCO! Strangely, my two neighbours to the north have both had their air conditioning fail over the last 10 days and neither received timely nor exemplary service from their providers, who were NOT HAMCO.

There I was… with an rv hot water tank that needed to be replaced and some propane lines that were beyond sketchy. I didn’t know how to resolve these issues and who would take on such a project. I reached out to Hamco and although rv trailers are not something they usually tackle, they cared enough to listen. They understood I needed help and they took this job on. Right away, Nolan was out to do an on-site inspection to get a better understanding of what was involved and what needed to be done. He was so professional, personable and knowledgeable. He got right to the task at hand and understood quickly what needed to be addressed. A date was easily booked through the helpful and courteous office team. On June 12, 2024 Nolan returned and again, wasted no time diving in and getting the old hot water tank out and installing the new. Repairing the propane lines and testing and checking all the new system. I can’t thank Nolan, Jordan, Veronika and the rest of the team at Hamco enough for caring, going the extra mile and helping me out of a real jam. It’s not always easy for a service company to achieve the highest level of service that it’s customers expect… but Hamco sure did reach it here.

I have used Hamco service for 25+ years and have a Hamco installed furnace & air. I use their service for both spring & fall maintenance. They have been very helpful to the point of helping to keep my very old heating system as long as possible. Recently I had the spring maintenance service & there were a couple of problems after it was completed. I spoke to Tara who was very helpful & patient with my explanation of what was happening. A couple of days later Mike came to investigate the problems & quickly solved the problems & explained what was happening. They were both very helpful and considerate.

It feels like Summer is already here and so thankful that we purchased our new York A/C from Hamco a few months ago. It’s running great and keeping our house nice and comfortable. We have been a customer for many years and can’t be more pleased with Sales (Andrew) Service (Shane) and Customer Service (Tara). All so friendly and knowledgeable.Quick story: Two winters ago my wife and I were visiting my daughter and her family in Switzerland. We were there for 2 months and while away we had a good friend checking the house on a regular basis. A month into the visit I received a text that there was an issue with the furnace. The condensate drain line was leaking and had to be fixed/replaced asap. A 6-hour time change made phoning a challenge however, after talking with Tara and Shane we were relieved and the repair was made the next day. Earlier this week Hamco replaced my gas furnace and air conditioner with a new multi stage furnace and heat pump. The team was led by Shemar assisted by Nick, Veronika and Tony. They were courteous and efficient, and the work of removal and installation of the new system went smoothly. They did a great job of cleanup in the work area, and outside where the hear pump unit is located. Thanks to the installation team, and to Andrew who did the upfront work of finding the right solution for us.

Our old rental hot water heater burst, which left us with a bit of a flood and no hot water. We phoned around to the big box retailers to purchase and install a new hot water tank. The install dates were anything from 7 to 14 days wait. I phone Hamco, and they sent a rep that afternoon to estimate the job. The install was completed next day in 2 hours. Excellent service and competitive price. Highly recommend.

Yesterday the Hamco team replaced my furnace and air conditioner, and did a wonderful job! Led by Shemar, they were courteous and efficient, and the work went smoothly. Shemar added some unexpected touches - a handle for easily removing the filter, and a pouch for storing the manuals - very helpful for a forgetful and arthritic senior! Well I waited a while to write a review til it got "REAL cold". I have to say the HEAT PUMP/AC PUMP we had installed in the summer did an outstanding job dealing with the entire attic area with ease. It was so comfortable up there (when it was like 40+ degrees outside on those heat wave stretches we had here in old DUNDAS) we just wanted to be up there more often, also noticed the air was very comfortable and clear. Not too dry or humid, kinda just perfect.Our house was built in 1903, pretty typical Edwardian style, long, skinny and REALLY tall. Attic open from front to back of house.NOW that its COLD, prior to this HEAT PUMP install, our attic was an ice box. Tough to enjoy, NOT A PROBLEM NOW THOUGH !!! The heat in there is excellent!! It's just quietly keeping us at 24 degrees or so. The outside unit is so quiet I have to lean into it make sure we are running. Incredible really!! HYDRO bills do not show huge increases. I think we are quite similar in historical billing actually, be being more efficient in other areas. Ii.e. weekend laundry only (OFF PEAK), less fancy lights out back no one really looks at too much.The installer crew were in/out in about 7 hours. Great crew!!"ANDREW" was spectacular from start to finish with his knowledge, confidence and professionalism. I had 3 or 4 discussions with hvac folks, and clearly ANDREW knew the job better then the rest, so we signed with HAMCO!Thx folks, I've recommended you several times.B

I would highly recommend Hamco Heating and Cooling Ltd. We had used their services to maintain our old furnace however when we woke up with no heat one morning, we were very worried. The technician came without two hours. Unfortunately, it was time to replaced the very old furnace and Bill came right away to next day to give us a quote on a new furnace. Our installation took place the following day and our installers Justin and Nick did an amazing job and were very professional. We have been working with HAMCO in Hamilton, ON for over 15 years, to install a high efficiency boiler and a water heater. They have always provided top quality, reliable service. Recently we installed a heat pump in our house (which is almost 100 years old and has hot water heating). We installed 4 heating/cooling units, one on each floor operated by one large condenser to reduce our carbon footprint and hopefully reduce our gas bill. The installation team of 4 eneregtic young technicians (Veronika, Najim, Josh and Nick) were a delight to work with. They were effciient, fast and completely dedicated. Two technicians ( Najum and Shamar) installed a new gas furnace and hot water tank on a rush basis since my old one failed. They worked well and solved a few install issues quickly. They tidied up afterwards and explained any questions I had thoughtfully and politely. Easy for me to recommend these gents and Hamco.

I use Hamco services for the yearly maintenance of my furnace—very friendly and efficient service from initial phone contact to service personnel. This year, Christian did the service. He was very knowledgeable, on time, and courteous.

Hamco is the Only Company I Trust for my Heating Needs. I am a repeat Customer of 14 years. Andrew, Bill and the staff are knowledgeable, professional, clean and all round great. I purchased my first furnace in 2009 It was a good experience. Justine & Shemar just installed my 2nd furnace today. Johnathan was awesome he absolutely went above and beyond his scheduled furnace maintenance by restarting my water heater for me and my family he didn't have but he did with a HAMCO SMILE😁 my family and I are Grateful 🙏🏼

Very positive experience working with Hamco for our Daikin ductless system. Andrew was very informative and detailed in explaining the best heating solution for our sun room.
