    Very happy with Andrew at Hamco with oil furnace conversion to heat pump. Lots of options out there, but Hamco proved superior not only in terms of price, but assistance with design, selection, and installation. Andrew even helped guide us through the grants process, which was an important factor in our decision to convert to a heat pump. Works even better than we imagined and have already started enjoying the energy savings and lower carbon footprint. Thanks Andrew!

    I had HAMCO install a heat pump water heater and perform furnace maintenance a week ago. In both cases, the employees were extremely professional, friendly, and courteous. They were on time, to the minute, and provided updates as well as easy to understand explanations of the work they were doing. There were no surprises. The sales rep was very friendly and never pressured me. Office staff were flexible when it came to scheduling the work. Great experience with both jobs.

    Completed furnace maintenance . Also fixed a gas leak on fireplace that was done by the shoddy work by the fire place installers(that store in burlington). Nolan was very proffesional and found the gas leak within seconds.

    I have a very old and very small cottage in Hamilton that has never had air conditioning and needed it ASAP. Andrew from HAMCO came for my quote within 24 hours of calling; he was extremely kind and helpful and took the time to show me how to change my furnace filter as a first-time homeowner. He gave me a fair and honest quote and within days his team was at my home installing my air conditioner.The team at HAMCO was very polite, efficient, and thoughtful of my home. They did a fantastic job installing the new unit and my thermostat. I've had the system for a few weeks and it's running so smoothly, I had such a humid and sweaty home and now it's cool and comfortable.     Long story short, we our new A/C unit was a lemon. The original installer wouldn’t do the work and most places won’t cover a manufacture’s warranty if they didn’t install it, but Hamco was willing to work with us. We did need to cover the labour costs (understandably), but not having to also pay for a new compressor was really nice. Both the office staff and the techs were professional, responsive and quick.

    As far as the product goes (Daikin FIT), it has only been 2 weeks since the system was installed, so I cannot give a credible review for the product itself yet, maybe for another day.I would like to call out the way my Daikin Fit was installed. Initially I was impressed since they initially said it is a 2-day job, but the install team (Greg/Christian/and a lady) managed to finish the job in a day. But then I realized how poor the wiring was done for my HVAC system. They just tied everything and tucked everything to the side of the furnace/duct. It looks electrically unsafe even. My old HVAC was done way more better. I am aware that the new HVAC systems have more electronics, but I've also seen other new Daikin installations and the wiring is not as bad as what has been done on mine. Also, there's supposed to be a holder for all the service manuals that they usually stick to the side of the airduct, but when I asked for it, they said the forgot to bring one and will just come back to install one. So they just put all the manuals on top of the media filter. But they never came back.I already reached out to my sales agent Daniel Poirier, but it's been 2 weeks now, and no action has been done yet or have not heard back from their installation manager as of this writing.Be the judge. I guess that would fall to simply being a poor quality work and poor after sales customer service.UPDATE:I would like to thank the team from HAMCO (Daniel - Sales, Shane - Service and especially Nolan - Technician ) for looking into my concern. It might have taken about 3 weeks, but at least they worked on a solution regarding the furnace wiring (and document holder) and they did not disappoint. You can see from the photos the updated wiring of my furnace. One satisfied customer! Thanks again!

    Hamco has done a service check on our AC for over ten years now - ever since they installed it! Nolan has always called ahead to let us know when to expect him to arrive and, like today, he is always prompt. He’s a hard worker and does a great job.     Repairman showed up on time and was very personable and professional. He had our furnace working again in under 10 minutes and explained what the problem was a dirty flame sensor. I would highly recommend Hamco they installed our Furnace and Air Conditioning and have provided excellent service since 2006.

    We had a heat pump installed in our Heritage status home. Preservation of the exterior appearance was critical, as was the efficiency that a heat pump could bring us for both winter and summer. Andrew and his team at Hamco worked diligently, professionally and were flexible throughout the installation process .     We called Hamco when our furnace stopped working and they replaced the igniter. We had a couple of intermittent issues with it not starting up properly after that and they came out under warranty, even though it turned out to be nothing to do with their installation. Their technicians and HO staff all seem knowledgeable, helpful and responsive.They're now our go-to company for all future HVAC work. Recommended.

    This was my first experience with HAMCO. I recently moved to Hamilton and learned that my very old furnace was installed by HAMCO..So I called to have them come and do a maintenance check. Allen showed up on time..he was friendly and honest about my furnace and did an amazing job. I highly recommend HAMCO for their professionalism and their honesty...I will continue to use HAMCO for all my heating needs....A great company with great values

    Thank you for your reply...You’re right/correct that the warranty (according to the primary contract) was not initialized by our grand parents, although it was strange that your employees (on multiple occasions) told us we had a warranty... and when it got expensive, all of a sudden we didn’t have one.It’s sad that things are not transferrable, all other companies we spoke to have an easy transferrable warranty policy.It took 9 visits and $500 (including 260plus tax labour cost - plus the $100 service call fee to be in our home for less than 35 minutes.) to install a mother board that still didn’t fix our issue.... this was all prior to your staff telling us that it wasn’t worth it for us to repair our furnace.While the final technician was in our home, the final Monday visit... he called the sales team to give us a quote for a new furnace. Not to shock you, but we never received a call.The thermostat that was originally installed with our furnace, was also not approved by American Standard... but apparently this is our fault too?Thank goodness for other companies who were FAR more interested in our business... 17 days without heat in February, no responsibility for the $500 in lost funds that did not fix the problem... and still blaming the customer.If this is customer service, i think this is very sad.*** RELIANCE WILL MATCH OR BEAT THEM IN PRICE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE.... THE POSITIVE REVIEWS ARE BECAUSE THEY OFFER $10 OFF FOR POSITIVE REVIEWS ONLY***

    They are very professional and they know what they are doing. I purchased a furnace and air conditioning unit from them a couple of years ago. Andy, the technician who came to my home to make the initial assessment was very patient and explained everything clearly. The equipment has worked very well all this time. I decided to have a humidifier installed and they did it promptly. Last year my old (very old) water tank broke and I decided to purchase a new one from Hamco cause I know them. They fixed my problem the same day. If I move to another house, I'll contact them to service my heating unit. They are reliable.

    We needed a whole new system in the house including a water heater (Which broke) and booked a consult visit from HAMCO with sales associate Zach. Zach was able to answer our queries and help us build a system that would suit the needs while being affordable. He was very professional and helpful, even when we called him and added last-minute changes, and he was able to make them within the original quote. We got the work done early the next week (only a few days later) and had an excellent team doing the install. We were really happy with the quality of work and professionalism from the install team of Justin, Ainslea and Nino (Zach helped out as well). They were particularly helpful in troubleshooting some concerns we had during the install, that we had not anticipated, and we ended up with a very streamlined and efficient setup which is needed as this is an older home with not a lot of room. We were concerned about maintenance and knowing what to do for each piece of equipment, so Zach created a maintenance checklist for us, and Justin showed us how to change the filters and the shutoffs for all the equipment. Our neighbor was impressed with the setup when we showed them, it looks like a new build system now and much quieter, so we are very happy. Thanks!!!
